We have had an eventful month.
Thank you very much to Sonya for organising Showjumping and Claire for Dressage. We must not forget to thank the wonderful helpers you have. With lots of smiles from the competitors over the two shows I’m confidant to say all efforts were well received.
Rallies have also been busy settling in. Emma and Michele have had a busy task for receiving people’s enquiries and payments. Well done ladies.
Looking around the rallies have been running well and a lot of happy riders thank you Veronica and to your team of instructors. We did have a little hiccup with the grounds being untidy on the first rally but I have put that down to a lot of new people not knowing the house keeping rules. I think the latest rally was a lot neater with the help of Riders cleaning their manure up and Emma, Pep, Inge doing a poo run around the grounds. Ari and Toni in the canteen have been whipping up a storm with the variety of food and really appreciate the watermelon at lunch on a hot day.
A big thank you to Linda who is always helping with no children at our club. Due to work Linda was kind enough to help me out again and walk the cross country course assisting Dan the bobcat driver clean the tracks for the rally day.
Another thank you to Jeanette our Vice president who also has no children at the club came to the Show jump day, rally and supported us.
While at the rally even worked out the water jumps water.
Thank you to Les for the new printer some of us have the hang of it and it works well.
As most of you have heard Jill was in an accident. Wishing Jill a speedy recovery. As a club a few years ago with a similar circumstance we discussed and decided we couldn’t use the clubs money for well wish gifts but were all happy to donate money/gifts by asking committee or members to put a hat around for that circumstance. This was done on the weekend by Inge, thanks Inge.
The ground grass looks amazing bright green well done Adam and Vanessa.
It is great to see everyone pulling together for our Club.
